This Year: Loves to compete . . . made huge strides during freshman season . . . working to further develop her all-court game and using serve as a weapon . . . loaded with talent . . . expected to lead the team at the top of the singles and doubles line-ups.

2002-03: One of the most consistent Cougars in 2002-03... Finished with a 14-11 record in singles play at the number two spot for most of the season... had a five match winning streak from February 22 through March 4... Compiled a 13-9 doubles record spending most of the year paired with Yolandi Terblanche (10-7) also paired with Analia Longoni (1-1) and Sarah Flood (2-1).

High School: Attended Hills Road Form College in Cambridge, England... won the England Under-18 national doubles title in 2001... was a five-time county champion.

Personal: Born Miranda Gemma Rose Foley on August 3, 1984... daughter of Ian and Linda Foley....majoring in kinesiology... was also recruited by Fresno State, Boston University, Indiana, Georgia Tech and Texas A&M... chose UH because of its "friendliness"... favorite hobbies include playing other sports and listening to music.
