HOUSTON - After having to postpone its first two matches of the spring season, the University of Houston women's tennis team swept UT-Pan American 7-0 in its home opener Saturday afternoon at the John E. Hoff/Varsity Tennis Courts.

The Cougars were scheduled to open their spring season Friday against Texas A&M - Corpus Christi and then face McNeese State earlier Saturday, but had to postpone both matches because of low temperatures and light rain. Both matches will be rescheduled for a late date.
