Cougar Netters Defeat Bobcats For Third Straight Win

HOUSTON - The University of Houston women's tennis team improved its win streak to three as it defeated Southwest Texas State 5-2 at the John E. Hoff Varsity tennis courts Saturday.

Houston dominated the No. 1, 2, 3 and 5 singles spots and picked up wins in the No. 1 and 2 doubles matches to improve its record to 5-5 overall.

The Cougars look to improve their 0-1 Conference USA record as they travel to Tampa to face South Florida Tuesday.
