    HOUSTON - The University of Houston women's tennis team swept Sam Houston State 7-0 in a non-conference match Wednesday at the John E. Hoff Varsity Courts.

    The Cougars dominated the doubles matches and defeated each of their singles opponents in two sets. With the win, Houston improved its overall record to 9-8 and is 1-2 in Conference USA play.
