Houston, Texas - The Cougars lost the match 5-1, missing top two players Sarah Borwell and Jen Baccarani in non-conference matchup. Jo Kenne played first for the Cougars and took her opponent Julieta Lillo to three sets before loosing 10-4 in the final set.

Analia Longoni won the lone match of the series in two sets, over Ceci Poveda. Kailey Meisinger lost her match to Layla Tohme 6-1, 6-2. and Kandace Ridgeway also lost her match to Moutse Flores by a score of 6-1, 6-0. The fifth and sixth matches were won by default.

The Cougars are 8-9 on the season and hope to curb their losing streak on Sunday with their match on Sunday April 8, against Marquette at 11:00am.
