Cougar Hardcourters Set To Return To Action

Feb. 1, 2008

HOUSTON, Texas - The University of Houston women's tennis team returns to action tomorrow, when the Cougars travel up to College Station to face Texas A&M. The Aggies are ranked #26 and the match will begin at 5 pm.

The Cougars are 1-0 on the young season after beginning the 2008 campaign with a 7-0 win over Tyler Junior College last Saturday. Last season, Houston fell to the Aggies, 7-0, in College Station. Houston is looking for its first win against Texas A&M since Feb. 23, 1999, when the Cougars knocked off the Aggies, 5-4, at the John E. Hoff Courts on the UH campus.

Houston enters tomorrow's match having lost seven straight to the Aggies.
