HOUSTON - The University of Houston women's tennis team will play host to McNeese State at 1 p.m., Friday at Houston Metropolitan Racquet Club due to a high chance of inclement weather.

The Cougars look for their first victory of the spring season after suffering losses to No. 6 Baylor and Colorado to open the 2012 campaign.

Freshman Liselot Koenen has opened her collegiate career in dominant fashion at the No. 6 singles position, outscoring her opponents from Baylor and Colorado by a 24-2 margin.

Senior Giorgia Pozzan claimed her first singles victory in dual match play this season on Sunday against Colorado after opening the season by taking 10 games off of the nation's 14th-ranked player from Baylor.
