Houston's Jen Baccarani is the Conference USA Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the period ending March 11. The junior closed the week on a three-match winning streak. She downed UAB's Natascha Immele, 6-2, 6-7, 6-3 and No. 83 Ines Khelifi of Virginia Tech, 6-2, 6-3. Against Penn State's Maaria Husain, Baccrani overcame a third set deficit to win, 6-4, 2-6, 6-3. In singles, Baccarani is 8-3 overall and 3-1 in Conference USA. She and Sarah Borwell have teamed to go 9-2 in doubles matches.
