    Cougars Fall 5-2 in Weekend Matchup with Oregon

    No. 44 Houston Hosts Arizona, Oregon in Home Opener

    FORT WORTH, Texas -- The University of Houston women's tennis team lost to TCU, 6-1, Saturday morning at Bernard Bartzen Varsity Tennis Courts at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center in Fort Worth. The Cougars are now 4-14 on the season.

    Though the Cougars would relinquish the doubles point, the No. 46 ranked duo of Sarah Borwell and Annie Rapp defeated TCU's Katrin Gaber and Karolina Roubickova 8-5.

    In singles action, No. 69 ranked Sarah Borwell fought a long and hard battle to defeat Gaber 6-7, 6-4, 7-5 for UH's lone victory of the day.

    The Cougars continue their tour of Texas as they head to Dallas on Sunday, April 8 to take on the No. 40 ranked SMU Mustangs. Match time is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
