Houston returns six letter-winners from last year's squad. Led by seniors Celia Fraser, Jo Garvey and Dionne Sanders, every member of the returning crew posted a winning record last season. Houston welcomes three newcomers to the courts in 2013 in what was regarded as one of the top signing classes across the country. Freshmen Despoina Vogasari and Tina Rupert and transfer Maria Andrea Cardenas bolster an experienced Cougar roster.
Also joining the program for the 2013-14 season is assistant coach Stephanie Wooten. Wooten comes two Houston after spending her last two seasons at Stephen F. Austin University.
Houston continues their fall campaign next week at the Amelia Island 10K Event hosted in Amelia Island, Fla. On Sept. 23-26.
