Houston, Texas - Sarah Borwell and Jen Baccarani of Houston were triumphant in the Championship matches to win their flights at the Rice Tennis Classic on Sunday at Jake Hess Tennis Stadium. They both played unattached in all matches in the tournament.

In flight A singles, Borwell completed her sweep of the field with a 6-4, 6-3 win over the Razorbacks' Monika Dybicz to claim the title without dropping a single set during the tournament. Baccarani also prevailed in her only three-set match of the tournament, defeating Texas A&M's Danielle Lee 6-2, 2-6, 6-0 in flight C singles.

The Lady Cougar tennis team will host the UH Invitational Tennis Tournament This weekend at the Varsity Courts. Matches will begin at 8:30am and be played every hour and a half throughout the day.
