For the second consecutive dual match, the University of Houston
women's tennis team lost by the score of 5-4 as North Carolina squeaked
past the Cougars on Friday afternoon.
UH (4-6) and UNC were tied after singles play as Houston received victories from its second, third and fourth position players. Senior Luciane Kelbert rallied to win 4-6, 7-5, 7-6. Junior Sarah Borwell and sophomore Joanna Cunliffe had easier times of it, winning 6-3, 6-3 and 6-4, 6-2, respectively.
