Indoor:Placed fourth in the long jump at the Southwest Classic with a jump of 17-01.25…also threw the shot put 40-06.75 to finish seventh at the Southwest Classic…registered a fifth-place finish in the triple jump at the Conference USA Championships with a leap of 38-02.00.
Outdoor: Finished ninth in the long jump at the College Station Relays with a jump of 17-09.75…also recorded a seventh-place finish in the triple jump at the College Station Relays with a mark of 37-11.50…placed seventh in the shot put with a throw of 40-01.25 at the LSU Alumni Gold Invitational…her season-best javelin throw of 115-01 came in a eighth-place finish at the Michael Johnson Classic.
College
Spent last season with the track team at the University of Texas-Arlington…placed runner-up in the indoor triple jump at the Southland Conference Championships.

A key member of Waller High School’s track team…was the 1998 and 1999 regional runner-up in the triple jump in District 18-4A.

Born February 12, 1981 in Brenham, Texas…daughter of Michael and Cheryl Battle of Prairie View, Texas…was the 1995 AAU national champion in the triple jump…enjoys reading and designing web pages…also recruited by Texas, Texas A&M, Sam Houston State, Southwest Texas and Memphis…majoring in political science.
