Named the most outstanding athlete under 20 years of age in 1999, 2000 and 2001…played soccer at Couda Gout…posted a career-best time of 11.95 in the 100 meters and 24.07 in 200 meters at the junior championships at the Caribbean and Central America Championships…also had a time of 13.77 in the 100-meter hurdles at the 2000 CARIFTA Games.
