College Station, Texas -

The University of Houston women's track and field team won five events at the College Station Relays on Saturday afternoon in College Station, Texas. Houston's Lauren Smith won the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.86 seconds and finished third in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:02.47. Aisha Morgan won the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.92 seconds and Crystal Freeman won the 400 meters in 57.08 seconds.

The Lady Cougars also won both relay events with a time of 45.48 seconds in the 4x100-meter relay and 3:45.81 in the 4x400-meter relay.

The top performer for the Cougars men's squad was junior Robert Foster, who opened the outdoor campaign with a second-place finish in the 100-meter dash. Foster had a time of 10.67 seconds in the race.
