    Medical redshirt who continues to work hard in a rehabilitation program to get ready for the season.

    2000: Was projected as a starting middle hitter after sitting out almost all of 1999 with an injury to her left knee, but suffered an identical injury to her right knee that sidelined her for the 2000 campaign.

    1999: Appeared to be on her way to a promising debut in Division I volleyball, but tore left anterior cruciate ligament early in the second match of the year against Loyola-Chicago...gained a medical redshirt...spiked a kill, had a dig and served two aces in one game played in the her first collegiate match, the season-opener against No. 1 ranked Stanford three days before...became the first freshman on the team to earn a starting role the very next match against eventual NCAA Tournament-bound Loyola-Chicago.

    High School/Club Volleyball: Was selected to the East team for the Texas Coaches Association Division II (classes 5A and 4A) All-Star game in Austin in the summer of 1999...a two-time first team all-district selection for La Porte High School...earned all-District 23-5A honors as a senior in 1998, helping the Lady Bulldogs to a 19-11 record...was named first team all-District 22-5A as a junior in 1997...coached in volleyball by Michelle Fontera...also earned varsity letters in basketball...played club volleyball for the Texas Elite.

    Personal: Born in Webster, Texas...parents are Larry and Lynda Baggett...biology major...enjoys all sports...nickname is "Baggs."
