Syracuse transfer who is returing to her hometown... Expected to contribute immediately in the Cougar lineup this season.... Can play all three front-row positions but will probably see the majority of her time at middle hitter... Hits a hard, heavy ball.

PRE-HOUSTON

Lettered during the 2001 season at Syracuse University... Led team with 234 kills and 3.44 kills per game... Was second on squad with 76 total blocks... Posted at least 10 kills in 14 matches, including a season-best 23 against Northeastern on the way to being named Big East Rookie of the Week ... Followed that match with 21 kills against Fairfield... Tallied four double-doubles, including a 15-kill, 14-dig performance against Jacksonville... Named to the War Eagle All-Tournament Team and honored as the Big East co-Rookie of the Week... Recorded 12 total blocks against Central Connecticut.

Played for head coach Debbie McDougal at Westfield High School at Mitchel Casteel at Club Texas... League rookie of the year as a sophomore and all-district as a junior and senior... Selected to the all-tournament team at the Houston Power League championship in 1999.
