    Sat out the entire 2002 season with a shoulder injury.

    2001 SEASON

    Saw time in 21 matches while starting two of those... Recorded a career-best eight digs at Cincinnati... Started against Stephen F. Austin and Texas A&M during first-day competition at the Rice Invitational.

    2000 SEASON

    Appeared in eight matches and 13 games as a true freshman...averaged 1.5 defensive digs per game...recorded a career-high six digs against Conference USA rival Memphis and five in just two games on the road at Southern Miss...also spiked a kill against the Golden Eagles...assisted on a block vs. Jacksonville State...served an ace against NCAA Tournament-bound Texas A&M...was awarded the Conference USA Commissioner's Academic Medal and was named to the league's Academic Honor roll.


    Served as volleyball team captain for Sterling High School in Baytown, Texas...two-time all-District 22-5A selection...was voted the squad's Most Valuable Player as a senior in 1999...led the team in kills in back-to-back seasons...steady server and passer...coached by Nadine Horne...outstanding student who was selected to the 5A Academic All-State team...scored a 1,240 on the SAT and graduated third in her class of 505...also earned second team all-district honors for two years as a goalkeeper for the soccer team...played club volleyball for five years...coached by Rhonda Woodward and Kelle Bond.


    Born on October 10, 1981 in Baytown, Texas...parents are Randy and Laura Prince... Management Information Systems major...favorite activities include going out with friends and taking care of her dog, reading and writing poetry...serves as a Special Olympics volunteer...dedicated community service worker with under-privileged children...nickname is "Cootie"...was also recruited by Tulane.
