1998: Played in all 33 matches and in 97 of the team's 117 games (83%)...made 13 starts...improved individual statistics across the board even though she had changed to a new position in order to help the Cougars more at outside hitter...averaged 2.04 kills and 6.04 attack attempts per game...posted career-highs in kills (21), defensive digs (15) and a season-high seven blocks against Conference USA rival Memphis...had five "double-doubles"... recorded 18 kills and hit .364 in just three games played against Tennessee...tallied double-figure kills in a match eight times...hit .300 or better on 10 occassions...attack percentage was 73 points higher against C-USA foes (.232)...made a career-high 61 attack attempts in the season-opener against Southwest Texas State...passed out a season-high six assists in a 3-2 win over TCU...

1997: Played in 22 of the team's 33 matches and in 44 of 117 games (38 %)...started two matches...missed two weeks of action in October with a knee injury that continued to nag her the rest of the year...registered 42 kills, 35 digs and 32 total blocks in her first collegiate season...posted a career-high eight blocks, career-high seven kills and hit .556 in a 3-0 sweep of North Carolina...stuffed two block solos against nationally-ranked Texas...tallied six kills and hit .357 with a career-high nine defensive digs against Conference USA rival Memphis... played in the NCAA Tournament match against Oklahoma and totaled four digs in one game...had four blocks in a pair of wins over DePaul and Montana...

High School/Club Volleyball: Played club for NASA Juniors, earning Lone Star and Third Coast MVP honors...coached by Emily Burdett and Karen Kramer Query...earned four varsity letters in volleyball at J. Frank Dobie High School...named first team all-Greater Houston selection by the Houston Chronicle and District 23-5A Most Valuable Player as a senior in 1996...averaged over 3.0 blocks per game playing middle...also saw action at outside hitter to lead the Longhorns to a 28-8 record and district championship... coached by Donna Branch...excellent student who was a member of the school's Academic Honor Roll...

Personal: Born September 2, 1978, in Abilene, TX...parents are Ann and Ronnie Godsey...kinesiology major...was also recruited by Stephen F. Austin and UNLV...chose to attend Houston because of "great people and a lot of opportunities."
