    Travis Clifford

    Travis Clifford joined the University of Houston volleyball program this season as the Director of Volleyball Operations Intern and works on all non-coaching aspects such as working with Data Volley scouting software, video and statistics.

    Prior to joining the Cougar family, Clifford has served as assistant and head coach for the Gulf Coast Volleyball Association for many teams ranging from 14s to 16s.

    Clifford worked under head coach Kaddie Platt during the 2009-2011 seasons at Houston Baptist as a student assistant coach/manager. He graduated in 2012 from HBU with a degree in Education focusing on 8-12 composite Social Studies.

    He earned a scholarship to play volleyball at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Mo., and played two seasons (2007-2009) before transferring to HBU to start his coaching career.

    Clifford is from Friendswood, Texas, and graduated from Clear Brook High School. He is currently pursuing his master's in education from the University of Houston.
