One of five Cougars to play in all 32 matches, appearing in 122 of Houston's 124 games... started 25 matches at setter where she set career highs during the season... finished first on the team in assists with 1021... Tallied eight assist/dig double-doubles... set a career high with 56 assists on Oct. 11... during a three-game stretch in early October, she passed out better than 50 assists with 53 against Saint Louis on Oct 10, 56 against Memphis on Oct. 11 and 54 against TCU on Oct. 15... tallied 48 assists and 14 digs against Southern Miss. on Oct, 14... picked up back-to-back double-doubles against UC Irvine and Florida State with 37 assists and 13 digs against Irvine and 37 assists and 12 digs against Florida State... picked up first double-double of 2003 against UT-San Antonio with 39 assists and 12 digs on Aug. 30.


2002: One of only four Cougars to see action in all 32 matches in her sophomore season... started 25 matches and played in 116 of Houston's 119 games... tallied double-digit digs in 17 matches and finished second on the squad (3.25 digs per game) behind Second-Team All-C-USA libero Jaci Gonzalez... led Houston with 41 service aces for an average of 0.35 per game... second on the team with 140 assists... opened the 2002 season with a career-high match against Louisiana Tech on Aug. 30... notched a career-high seven services aces and 17 digs as the Cougars began their 7-0 opening run... stepped in and added a career-high 19 assists, 13 digs and three aces the following day against Centenary... contributed 14 assists and 17 digs against Ohio University in Campus USA Credit Union Invitational in Gainesville, Fla... notched a career-high 21 digs in 3-0 win over Southern Miss in Houston's conference opener on Oct. 5... had a spectacular weekend against Rice and TCU, adding 20 and 17 digs in Oct. 17 and 18 matches, respectively... matched her career-high (21 digs) in Nov. 12 home win over Tulane... closed out her sophomore campaign with 31 digs in two matches at the 2002 UCF Tournament Nov. 29-30... named to C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll for second consecutive year.


Second on team with 70 assists... Competed in 19 matches with two starts... Tallied 13 digs in the Cougars' Conference USA opener against Tulane... Led all Cougar players in only her second collegiate match with 34 assists against host Rice at the Rice Invitational... Made her collegiate debut against Stephen F. Austin at that Rice Tournament.


Standout international setter from Recife, Brazil...earned a high school scholarship to participate on a club team in Brazil...attended Colegio Atual, the equivalent of high school in Brazil...was signed by UH out of Baltimore, Maryland, where she lived as an exchange student...served as President of her senior class at Colegio Atual...played for the Asics Metro Volleyball Club.


Born on July 22, 1983 in Recife, Brazil...parents are Antonio and Ana Vasconcellos...lived with host family, Randy and Vikki Jacobson, while in Maryland...Pre Law major...favorite hobbies include going to the beach, surfing and listening to music.
