The University of Houston volleyball team fell in three games Saturday night to Tulane Green Wave in New Orleans Louisiana.

The Cougars were led by Cinthia Piva's game high 15 kills and Loure Dews' 14 kills while Kelly McAnelly chiped in with 11. The Green Wave was led by Anastsia Devon and Deva Fowler who each had 11 kills.

The Green Wave (15-2, 2-0 in C-USA) took game one 30-22 and continued with wins in games two and three with 30-24 and 30-28. The Cougars who are now 4-12 for the season and 0-2 in C-USA play were not able to pull out a close game three.

The Cougars will be in action again when they take on Sant Louis Friday afternoon at 5 p.m. in a Conference USA double header with the Cougar soccer team who plays at 7 p.m.
