Packed House Greets Third Stop on Coaches' Road Tour

HOUSTON - A packed house at Skeeter's Mesquite Grill in Houston greeted three head coaches and Director of Athletics Mack Rhoades Wednesday night on the third stop of the Coaches' Road Tour.
After the night's master of ceremonies Tom Franklin greeted the large contingent of Cougar fans, head volleyball coach Molly Alvey took to the stage and spoke about the rich volleyball tradition and the upcoming season.
In his second appearance this week on the Coaches' Road Tour, head baseball coach Todd Whitting spoke to the group and addressed questions from the audience. The night then ended with head football coach Kevin Sumlin speaking about the upcoming year.
Director of Athletics Mack Rhoades, football assistant head coach Tony Levine, football offensive coordinator Jason Phillips, soccer head coach Susan Bush, swimming head coach Mark Taylor and golf head coach Jonathan Dismuke will be in attendance to answer questions and discuss their respective programs.
Other stops on the Tour are slated for Monday, Aug. 2 (Skeeter's, Weslayan location), Tuesday, Aug. 10 (Buffalo Wild Wings, Pearland) and Tuesday, Aug. 17 (Skeeter's, Town and Country location).
Coaches scheduled to attend the remaining Tour events include Whitting, Alvey, football assistant head coach Tony Levine, football offensive coordinator Jason Phillips, golf head coach Jonathan Dismuke, soccer head coach Susan Bush, swimming head coach Mark Taylor, men's basketball head coach James Dickey, track and field head coach Leroy Burrell, women's basketball head coach Todd Buchanan and softball head coach Kyla Holas.
