HOUSTON (Sept. 28) - The University of Houston volleyball team will host state rival Texas at 3:00 p.m. in Hofheinz Pavilion on Saturday, September 30, in the first part of a Cougar sports-day double-header. After the volleyball match the UH football team will host SMU in a 7:00 p.m. non-conference game at O'Quinn Field at Robertson Stadium.

Cougar fans who show their football tickets at the volleyball match will be allowed into Hofheinz free of charge. The volleyball team is off to a 9-3 start with a Conference USA match vs. the University of Charlotte slated for Thursday night in North Carolina. The Cougars are paced by senior hitter Jennifer Wittenburg, who is second in the nation with 6.15 kills per game.
