Warren Earns Second American Conference Honor Roll Accolade

Junior Cortney Warren named to the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll for the second time this season.

HOUSTON - Cortney Warren received her second American Athletic Conference honor of the season this week after a stellar performance against Temple and Memphis, selected by league officials Monday afternoon.

Warren led the Cougars with 32 kills on the week, also adding 10 digs and eight blocks. She led the Cougar offense with 20 kills in the four-set loss against Temple, her third game this season with 20 or more kills. The outside hitter also recorded four blocks during the match. Warren added 12 more kills in the five-set defeat over Memphis Sunday afternoon.

USF sophomore Erin Fairs was named American Athletic Conference Player of the Week, while Louisville's Maya McClendon was named Freshman of the Week.
