HOUSTON (Nov. 8) - The University of Houston will host a sports double-header on Friday night, November 10, in Hofheinz Pavilion. The men's basketball and women's volleyball teams will play their respective events back-to-back this Friday in a unique viewing opportunity for Cougar fans.

The Cougar basketball team, under new head coach Ray McCallum, will play their second exhibition game of the season against EZY Bond Australia. The start time against the international team from "Down Under" was moved up one hour from earlier schedules to 6:00 p.m.

At the conclusion of the contest Hofheinz will immediately be converted from its basketball configuration to volleyball in order to accommodate the scheduled Conference USA match between UH and league co-leader Cincinnati.

The five Cougar seniors will be honored before the match that could prove to be, because of the double-header, the most attended UH home volleyball match in school history. First serve will be soon after the venue has been converted.
