Warren Named to American Conference Honor Roll

Junior Cortney Warren earns her third American Athletic Conference Honor Roll selection.

HOUSTON - Junior hitter Cortney Warren earned a spot on the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll for the third time this season. The conference recognized her performances at Louisville and Cincinnati this weekend.

Warren had one of the best showings for the Cougars hitting .348 on the weekend with 28 kills, three digs, and five blocks and scored 30.0 points. 

She recorded her second best hitting average of the season against Cincinnati, hitting .423 (12-1-26). The match marks the fourth time this season Warren recorded one error, the third time to hit .300 or better with only one error. It was also her 14th double-figure kill match of the season. Against Louisville, Warren hit .300 with 16 kills, and three blocks.

Warren moves into the top 10 of conference with 285 kills, averaging 2.91 kills per set.
