HOUSTON - The University of Houston volleyball team earned the No. 8 seed in the Conference USA Volleyball Championship to be played at Tudor Fieldhouse on the campus of Rice University on Nov. 20-22. The Cougars first round action begins at 7 p.m., on Nov. 20 against the No. 1 seed, Southern Miss.

The tournament begins Friday at noon against No. 3 Tulsa and No. 6 SMU. No. 2 Tulsa and No. 7 UAB will play at 2 p.m. and tournament host and No. 4 seed Rice will play against No. 5 Marshall at 5 p.m.

The championship continues with two matches on Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. and the Championship match will be played at 1 p.m. on Nov. 22. The Championship match will also air on CBS College Sports.
