Volleyball Wraps-up Successful Season

HOUSTON - The University of Houston volleyball team wrapped up its first season under head coach Molly Alvey. She guided the Cougars to a 19-13 overall record and a 13-7 mark in Conference USA. The Cougars finished third in league action and posted the most conference wins since 1999. Lucy Charuk and Chandace Tryon went on to earn All-Conference USA First Team honors, while Charuk was named to the AVCA Midwest All-Region Team and an All-America Honorable Mention. Alvey recently sat down to talk about all of those accomplishments and her plans for the program moving forward.
