    Medical redshirt who has worked hard in a rehabilitation program to get ready for the 2000 season... 1999: Appeared to be on her way to a promising debut in Division I volleyball, but suffered a season-ending knee injury minutes into the second match of the season... gained a medical redshirt and will have a full four years of eligibility left...spiked a kill, had a dig and served two aces in one game played in the her first collegiate match, the season-opener against No. 1 ranked Stanford...became the first freshman on the team to earn a starting role the very next match against NCAA Tournament-bound Loyola-Chicago...tore left anterior cruciate ligament early in the match against the Ramblers...High School/Club Volleyball: Was selected to the East team for the Texas Coaches Association Division II (classes 5A and 4A) All-Star game in Austin in the summer of 1999...a two-time first team all-district selection for La Porte High School...earned all-District 23-5A honors as a senior in 1998, helping the Lady Bulldogs to a 19-11 record...was named first team all-District 22-5A as a junior in 1997...coached in volleyball by Michelle Fonterro... also earned varsity letters in basketball...played club volleyball for the Texas Elite...
