Bryan Spraggins joined the University of Houston Athletics Department in July 2022.
Spraggins oversees the athletic facilities and game management operations for Volleyball and Softball as well as assisting with Football and Men’s Basketball.
Prior to arriving in Houston, Spraggins was the Assistant Director of Facilities and Events at the University of North Texas.
During his time at North Texas, Spraggins oversaw several gameday and facility operations for the Mean Green including volleyball, women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, softball, tennis and swimming and diving. He was also heavily involved in the football gameday operations. He oversaw the facility work order system and tracked work order budgets for the department. Additionally, he helped generate revenue through the execution of non-athletic events and managed all Club Level reservations at Apogee Stadium.
Prior to moving over to facilities and event management, Spraggins was a marketing and promotions assistant for two years. He assisted with game-day marketing and promotion operations for all home athletic events at North Texas.
Spraggins has been a part of several conference championships and NCAA postseason tournaments during his career as well as serving as tournament director for some. Some of these events include the 2023 NCAA Men’s Final Four, 2021 Men’s NIT, 2017-2022 Conference USA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships, 2019 Conference USA Women’s Soccer Championship.
Spraggins is a native of Fort Worth, Texas, and earned his bachelor's degree in business economics from the University of North Texas in 2012.
