Ghabby Mossop joined the Houston Athletics Department in June 2024 as a Graduate Assistant of Student-Athlete Development where she supports student-athletes in their transition to the next stage of their personal and professional journeys.

In this role, she assist in the overseeing of Student-Athlete Development programming, coordinating event logistics, and ensure efficient processes for initiatives held throughout the year.

Mossop comes to Houston after spending three seasons as the Recruiting Assistant for Football at Jackson State where she orchestrated the hospitality for recruits ranging from 3-5 stars during official and unofficial visits at every home game including families, developed comprehensive game day and weekend itineraries encompassing activities such as tours, photoshoots, meetings, meals, and additional arrangements.

In addition to her work with Jackson State Football, she served as a Media Intern for the Reese's Bowl in Mobile, Ala.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Jackson State in 2024 and is currently working towards a Masters in Sports Finance Administration at the University of Houston.
