The University of Houston women's soccer team plays host to two Conference USA opponents this weekend at John O'Quinn Field at Robertson Stadium. Houston hosts the Saint Louis Billikens on Friday, Oct. 1 at 7:00p.m. and the Memphis Tigers on Sunday, Oct. 3, at 1:00pm.
The Cougars are a combined 9-1-1 against Saint Louis and Memphis since 1998, including a perfect 6-0 against the Tigers. The Billikens shut out the Cougars, 1-0, on Sept. 26 last year, while the Cougars posted the same score in a victory over Memphis the last time the two teams met last Oct. 12.
Following this weekend, UH heads back on the road for three straight games, including three league matches (TCU on Oct. 8, DePaul on Oct. 15 and Marquette on Oct. 17) and one last non-conference game at SMU on Oct. 10. The Cougars and Mustangs will be league foes in 2005-06.
The Cougars round out the 2004 regular season with three league matches at Robertson Stadium, playing host to USF (Oct. 22), UAB (Oct. 24) and Charlotte (Oct. 29).
The annual C-USA Tournament, of which Houston has participated in five of its first six years in the league, is set for Nov. 3-6 in St. Louis, Mo.
The Cougars have posted a 33-25-7 record in 65 regular-season contests against C-USA foes.
Houston currently carries a 4-6-0 overall mark on the 2004, including 1-1-0 in C-USA.
