High School: Competed at St. Agnes Academy for head coach Angela Chancellor and helped lead squad to a perfect 15-0-0 record... Was an All-District First-Team defender in 2001-02... Also earned All-State Second Team accolades during that time... Competed on the volleyball team for two seasons.
Personal: Full name is Tiare Ishka Austin... Born on May 20, 1987, in Houston... Daughter of William and Titahi Austin... Father was a former All-America and national champion gymnast... Also served as a coach with the U.S. Junior National Men[apos]s Gymnastics teams in the 1980s... Undecided major... Also was recruited by Tampa, UTEP and McNeese State.
