Natalie Keck Records 2,000th Career Dig

HOUSTON - Senior libero Natalie Keck recorded her 2,000th career dig with an 18-dig performance during the three-set loss (22-25, 21-25, 18-25) to Memphis Friday evening.
Houston dropped to 13-14 on the season, 5-10 in the American Athletic Conference play while the Tigers moved to 20-9 overall, 10-5 in conference.
Keck has now tallied 550 digs this season, ranking fifth in school history for the most digs in a single season. She is also second in the school record book for career digs (2,002). Keck has recorded double-digit digs in all but two matches and stretches her current streak to six matches.
Freshman outside hitter Sarah Afflerbaugh led the Cougars hitting .333 with 11 kills, eight digs and two blocks. This match marked the fourth double-digit kill match of the season, the second consecutive for the freshman. Senior hitter Kadi Kullerkann followed as she recorded 11 kills (.235). Kullerkann has now recorded double-digit kills in all 27 matches.
UP NEXT
On Sunday, the Cougars wrap up their second to last road trip of the year as Houston visits Cincinnati for a match at noon. The Cougars return to Houston for the home finale Nov. 21 and 23 as they host USF on Friday and UCF on Sunday. The final home match of the season against UCF will honor our four seniors on Senior Day.
