Houston falls to #12/#13 Arizona
HOUSTON – Despite holding the Wildcats at bay for most of the contest, the University of Houston Softball team dropped its Saturday tilt to #12/#13 Arizona, 5-0, at Cougar Softball Stadium.Â

Freshman Rylee Michalak (6-5) took the loss after earning the start and re-entering in relief for Houston (22-23, 4-17 Big 12). Devyn Netz (20-5) picked up the complete-game shutout for Arizona (42-10, 16-7 Big 12).

5th | After a pitchers' duel claimed the first four innings of the game, Arizona broke the stalemate in the fifth. With runners on second and third, a sac fly off the bat of Jenna Sniffen put the Wildcats up 1-0.
